Don is a retired elder in the
Ohio West Area. He has a master's degree in sacred theology from
Boston University. Don is also a retired elementary teacher with an
Ohio
Permanent teaching certificate. He taught elementary classes for
twenty three years. He has served full time pastorates for nine years
and part time churches for twenty six years. Don has a passion for the
survival of small churches. He is married with five children and
fourteen grandchildren. Don's hobbies include ham radio, model planes,
and reading. He used his ham transceiver in the class room and also in
the assisted living center in
Milford
where he was activity director. Don also spent several years as
educational coordinator for Clermont Senior Services. He conducted
science programs throughout the County using the ham radio as an
enhancement for motivation. He won a $1000 grant from a local
foundation for the expansion of the program to the social studies
area.
Moses T. Choto
Moses
Choto is a wildlife ecologist with Master's degrees in Environmental
Studies and Geography. In his home country of Zimbabwe, he taught at
the high school level as well as spending 17 years working under the
Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management. He left the
Department in 2001, joining his family in the States, who had left
Zimbabwe in 2000. During his tenure with the Wildlife Organization,
he was involved in the initial efforts to establish trans-border
parks in Southern Africa and the establishment of community based
wildlife conservation projects. His hobbies include wood and stone
carving, table tennis, and gardening.
